Types of Membership

At Austrian Surfing 1, the 1st Austrian Surfing Club

1. Ordinary, extraordinary, community or honorary membership
2. Ordinary members pay regular membership fees
3. Extraordinary members are special sponsors of AS
4. Community members are part of the association’s Internet community, however, they don’t pay membership fees
5. Honorary members are appointed by the association by virtue of exceptional support to the association

Why and how to become a member?

Community members

• Register online for free (use the link below: "Zur Registrierung")
• You will receive the AS newsletter that keeps you informed on the latest news 
• You are entitled to participate in the AS Championships and surf instructor courses

Ordinary members

• Register online for free (use the link below) and pay the membership fee of €50.-
• In addition to the above benefits you will receive:
• An Austrian Surfing T-shirt (THE AS GREEN ROOM: organic and fair trade)
• Discounts when participating in the AS Champs and other AS events
• Certain requests and services are only available to ordinary members 
• You will be entitled to vote in the general assembly
